Belgium Belgium…Incredible Arctic World Record by Belgian explorer Dixie Dansercoer!
Did you know on June, 4 2014 Belgian polar explorer Dixie Dansercoer (51 years old) and his Canadian expedition partner Eric McNair-Landry (30 years old) are the first polar explorers to have completed by kite and skis – after 56 days with a total distance of 4,044.9 km – the circumnavigation of the entire Greenland ice sheet, the second largest ice mass worldwide.
