Still time to participate to the polar game…

Within the context of the International Polar Year 07/08, Arctic05 is associated to the Polar game «Cool 4 Antarctica» .

This game stems from the Belgian Polar expedition taking place this year in Antarctica and led by the well known Belgian explorer Dixie Dansercoer on board the yacht «Euronav Belgica» (see here below the pictures of the expedition team & yacht – official departure day in Nieuwpoort, Belgium – 16/09/07). This sailing expedition aims to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the original expedition led by Adrien de Gerlache on board Belgian vessel  «la Belgica».

The youngsters & teachers amongst you as well as schools  are invited to participate during the 10 coming weeks in this «online game» . So should you wish to learn more about the Antarctic and may be win a fantastic prize, don’t miss this. Questions will be posed by Dixie Dansercoer.
