Last minute cancellation!!!

Was told at the airport that my flight ticket wasn’t valid…& that no other options could be found…so the Polar adventure here below described is for another time when the opportunity will be there again… alalala human mistakes can have its consequences…!!!!! Let’s however remain positive 🙂

My 2008 Polar adventure is taking place for the moment around the Inari lake in the North of Finland (Ivalo – see below map). I am with Polar explorer Gilles Elkaim & his dogs to better understand the sporting life & philosophy of mushers.

I will take advantage of his great expertize to (during 3 years, Gilles traversed (with his dogs + kayak) the Eurasian Arctic, meaning 10.000km from North Cap (May 2000) to Uelen at the Bering Strait (June 2003)) start with Gilles our dogsledding expedition to discover the beautiful Finnish nature & wildlife…
