Noah’s Ark on Svalbard…

Norway is starting building in Svalbard an “Arctic vault” to preserve world crop seeds in the event of global catastrophe.

The aim is to ensure the survival of crop diversity in case of plant epidemics, natural disasters, nuclear events, climate change… and to offer our world a chance to restart growth of food crops that may have been wiped out….
