Arctic05 – Day 4, walking in Longyearbyen s toundra

DAY 4 – WALKING IN LONGYEARBYEN’S TOUNDRA

City shopping after a late breakfast.
“Hi” to the Longyeabyen locals which maybe do recognize them on the streets : Fabrice, the man with his long hair – Patrick, the man in shorts J – “He, good morning – how are you today ?”.

Toundra walk in the Longyearbyen’s surroundings…the best photos shots are the ultimate objective of our 2 mates…the orange and red colours are announcing the autumn season.

Veke who’s working in the guesthouse where they are staying suggested them in a so friendly way to show them by car the city neighbourhood : splendid it was…so important to view unknown spots with a local…they so much appreciated your proposition, Veke – thanks again!

Bjorndalen is a breathtaking spot where they saw a reindeer walking at ease. On their return trip, they were suddenly interrupted by 2 curious polar foxes.
Aline, a young spontaneous Mexican girl came along with them for their last hours in Longyeabyen.
Restaurant – sleep (3 o’clock in the morning)

She woke them up like a real mum… taking them out of their arctic dreams… they will not forget them (Veke, Aline) so easily…
