(Ant)Arctic Matters. I can make the difference!
Belgian polar explorer Dixie Dansercoer presents (Ant)Arctic Matters, which is a tantalizing global project, creating awareness for today’s ecological consequences of climate change.
Physically, (Ant)Arctic Matters is an Art exhibition, travelling around the world in twelve containers. The exhibit’s main goal is to confront the visitor with an artistic view on the intricate character of the Polar Regions, the Arctic Ocean and the Antarctic continent, two unique global barometers for climate change.
The exhibition is running now in the Belgian city of Bruges till the 3 of January 2010. Afterwards, it will take place in Brussels & Wallonie. This Art exhibition will travel around the world for 5 years. We invite you to surf under their project website: www.antarcticmatters.org & understand the importance to Act!
To strengthen the cross border goal of the exhibition, this project has issued a platform where they invite you as individual or organization to take an engagement… Read about their “Global Matters Charter”.
