Expedition 2007, known for its dynamism…

If 2006 was a financial transition saving year for us in terms of polar adventures, 2007 will be known for its dynamism.

Arctic05 now actively prepares its next expedition which should go ahead in July 2007 in Svalbard.  The missions are already defined and we are in discussion with different players from the scientific world, the media, as well as tourist agents with a view to putting the whole project together. Seeking out business partners and sponsors is indispensable in order to succeed in our objectives.

Our expedition carries the code name SOE07 (Svalbard Ocean Expedition 07).

Missions envisaged during the month of July 2007 are the following:

– rerun the 2005 EDAS project test phase but this time concentrating on the achievement of  scientific analysis & conclusions;
– make known the results of the expedition by way of press articles;
– publish in “our way” a picture book with foot notes on summer wonders of the  Svalbard archipel;
– an attempt to make a short “film documentary”;
– inform our internet viewers on the progress of project SOE07 by way of eletters and news bulletins on www.arctic05.org
