Succesful launch of the satellite MetOp…

The European satellite “MetOp” has been launched succesfully on the 19th of October 06 from Baikonur in Kazakhstan.

The weather spacecraft will help to improve weather forecasting & climate monitoring by providing accurate, rapid data to scientists on temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction as well as concentrations of ozone and other trace gases in the atmosphere…
