The Halle wood in the South of Brussels in Belgium is a wonderful place where one may contemplate from mid-April to early May a breathtaking & sumptuous display of wild bluebells hyacinths.

Het Hallerbos in het zuiden van Brussel in België is een prachtige plaats waar iedereen van midden april tot begin mei kan genieten van dit geweldig en overvloedig tapijt met blauwpaarse wilde hyacinten.

The Common Bluebell (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) is a spring-flowering bulbous perennial plant of 20-50 cm high with sweet scented violet-blue flowers shaped like tiny bells.

People are coming from around the world just to see this rare botanical & fairy tale phenomenon!

Brits do consider Bluebells has one of their favourite spring flowers…
