Belgian Polar explorer Alain Hubert Support Committee…

We are just informing you that friends of well-known Belgian Polar explorer Alain Hubert, President of the International Polar Foundation and ambassador of the Belgian Polar Antarctica Station Princess Elisabeth have initiated a Support Committee in response to several press articles and a complaint against him.   

Please read here what is written by the Support Committee:

“… Following the various articles published in the press and the complaint filed by the Director-General for Scientific Policy against Alain Hubert, it seems to us normal to express our support for Alain Hubert by setting up a Committee, whose sole objective it to defend his unflinching commitment to a project which is in the interest of both science and the image of Belgium.

Without his total commitment, the Princess Elisabeth international polar station would never have been established. We will obviously not adopt a position on the substance of a matter which is now in the hands of the justice, as it is for the justice to separate the truth from the unfounded attacks, but we believe that it is relevant to defend the integrity of a man, an entrepreneur whose action is uplifting for our country and who has never been motivated by his own personal enrichment… click here for further info  >> ”
